Self Inspection's model is trained on 20M+ vehicle images drawn from production inspections across rental, dealer, lease, marketplace, transport, and fleet operations. Accuracy is measured by blinded comparison against in-person inspections by certified inspectors: the model alone measures 96%, and with mandatory expert review applied, delivered accuracy is 99%. Ravin AI publishes its own metrics against its own methodology, so the numbers are not directly comparable. Run both against your data.
Self Inspection runs in any phone browser. The customer or agent receives a link by SMS, email, QR code, or embedded button, and the guided capture starts - no app install, no account creation, no device provisioning. Updates ship server-side. Ravin AI markets a mobile product; whether a deployment requires an app install is not something we will characterize from the outside. Ask them, and ask about the customer-facing case specifically.
Self Inspection detects across 6,000+ combinations of damage type, location, and severity - dents, scratches, scuffs, paint defects, glass cracks, wheel and rim damage, tire wear, missing trim, and interior damage, each resolved to a panel and a severity band. A repair estimate and an excess wear determination both need which panel and how bad. Ravin AI has not published a comparable scenario count.

Self Inspection integrates across rental management, dealer management, fleet and telematics, auto finance and lease management, insurance and claims, and custom builds on the public API. Every connector is written against the same REST API you get, webhook payloads are HMAC-signed, SDKs cover Node, Python, Swift, and Kotlin, and the sandbox is free.
